I've played since Gen 1. Outside the general fad ending and taking casualfags (the only ones who complained about it back then) with it, no one looks back at the older games like you retards keep saying.
Now, however, they are just factually worse with each iteration starting with Gen 5 so you see people realizing the last one wasn't quite as shit.
It's Game Freak lowering the bar so when people look back they see how much higher it used to be.
Like a dude now constantly up to his neck in sewage, their standards have been lowered retroactively. They look back and think to themselves "Gee, that hambeast with rotten fried chicken BO wasn't so unattractive after all."
