Yeah, LGPE is on track to do better than FireRed/LeafGreen. I wouldn't be surprised if Sw/Sh do as well as Diamond/Pearl, if not better.

I agree but they didn’t invest much on making them to begin with, the budget was very low that any revenue they get from them is a profit. SWSH will follow the same thing.

It's still tracking ahead of a fair number of past mainline games. And it's doign those numbers even though it was 60 dollars AND on a system with a smaller install base than DS and 3DS and GBA all had at it's point of release.

Was about on par with 3DS actually. They only had about 30 when X/Y released (mostly thanks to the pricing blunder). Switch was sitting at like 25.

SS is definitely gonna sell better, it's a new gen. SS is probably going to be a huge success since it's on a console too bc muh HD pokuhmon. As far as I'm concerned the series ended at USUM. At least they still bothered to put all the pokemon in at that point.

Yes, partly because as much of a shitshow as SwSh currently are, they're still going to be leagues better than LGPE. Also the Switch Lite will soon be a thing which will make Switch games far more accessible for the financially-strained, meaning more access to Pokémon games from fans still stuck on the 3DS.
