The Goldenrod game corner only sold Abra, Ekans, and Dratini, which were all Pokemon native to the Johto region.
The Celadon game corner on the other hand sold endangered Pokemon that were stolen from the Safari Zone (Dratini, Scyther, Pinsir).
In Generation II/IV, with Team Rocket gone, the Game Corner simply sells imported Pokemon (Eevee, Mr.Mime, Larvitar). No Pokemon from the Safari Zone are included.
