Gen 9 region predictions

Here are my thoughts on what Gen 9’s region could be based off of: (Going off of the pattern of the regions of each Gen)

-Middle Eastern
- Mediterranean
-Artificial Continent
- Fantasy

Could the last two ever be a possibility?

We'll probably get something based on the Americas since we've gone back to Europe.
My guess is Brazil since it houses the biggest population of Japanese people outside Japan.
Honestly surprised it hasn't been made into a region yet.

You're last two would not work for two reasons:

My best bet for Gen 9 is either California or the PNW. Makes a lot of sense since that's the biggest part of the US that's completely missing in the pokémon world. I'm having more hopes towards the PNW.

My money is on South America. Brazil or Peru probably. It would be fun to have an area based on the Amazon forest, perhaps with a Mew sidequest (Brazil even has Kanto pandering material, what is Game Freak waiting for?), or maybe a misterious, ancient ruined city based on the Macchu Picchu or however that's spelled.
Brazil has it all: it's huge, there's plenty of biomes, rich wildlife, beaches, a rich culture and famous cities. Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro based cities would be neat.

If not gen 9, then gen 11 could be Brazil (assuming patternfags are correct and there will be 12 gens and a Tropical Paradise region on the third one of the cycle, like Hoenn and Alola.)

I... I actually don't mind that. I'd still really like Australia. And I know it's stupid to say Japan, but if there was like a more hardcore Japan inspired region that'd be really cool.

This is the most reasonable. Not sure if they'd ever attempt a non irl region other than Pasio. Which is probably referencing an IRL nation we cannot recognize due to the biome diversity

Spain, France, and Britain released in the same game would be a golden opportunity for GF. The likely won't have an opp like that before the franchise dies off.
>spain: brand new region
>france: underutilized region that needs a facelift
>britain: a recently finished region that needs very little to modernize it for this new game

All of which are right next to each other.

The only other scenario would be connecting Hoenn and Johto with a new region. But that'd be considerably more work

My guess is either Italy, China, or an invented land. We just had ORAS and SM which were either tropical or had full out rainforests and now we have a neutral-cold region. Brazil would be tropical again but neutral-warm makes sense. Italy would fit that well, plus a lot of the architecture in Galar is vaguely hinting at ruins which irl are Roman.

China also has a wide biome diversity and would be a return to Asia. It’s got rich culture and would be an interesting parallel to the Japan regions. Korea doesn’t seem likely because they hate each other.

An artificial country would be really cool though because GF could let their imaginations run wild. If we were going to South America I’d think Chile because the mountains and diverse climate, or somewhere near enough to the Galapagos to tie into evolution.

According to the Great Law of Patterns, we're starting a new cycle, and thus we're getting a very urban region.
I think the new cycle may be about non-Japanese asian countries and the first region of that new cycle shall be based on China.

It’s possible but Brazil seems to be mostly tropical in the way it’s imagined in popular media. I think Peru or places with more mountains and connection to ancient civilizations by leftover architecture are more likely for SA. Brazil has three things going for it- population, connection to Japan, and Mew.
