Sorry for the clickbaity title XD I’m SO excited to tell you guys that I got to see the intro of the new Pokemon Sword and Shield anime. My brother works at the animation team for the Pokemon anime, if anybody is wondering. And he let me see the intro. It starts with Ash, lowering his hat, don’t know why t it’s got some Gen 1 vibes. He seems like he’s sad or dissappointed, I don’t know Japanese so I didn’t understand the lyrics but it’s got some jam! The sadness or dissappointment COULD be because he lost the Alola League. It’s just my speculation. The intro starts just like the first season of Pokemon. The two legendaries Zacian and Zamazenta running through a forest, just like Mew and Mewtwo...gliding through space...I guess. Then Pikachu starts running, like the old intro but not UNDER the big and evolved pokemon, but the small and cool looking starter pokemon. Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble and then finally reaches an Eevee. The intro continues with Hop and Leon. Hop is LITERALLY behind Leon’s shadow, looking up on the sky and following his brothers steps. Then, we see Marnie and Bede battling against each other. Marnie is using a Morpeko and Bede is using a Duosion. Team Yell is cheering for Marnie in the background. Then there are new pokemon all over the place its CRAZY. I remember seeing a black and white Linoone and a yellow spotted dog that looks like is using volt tackle or something, I’m not a hundred percent sure but I think it’s the Yamper evolution. Then there’s this cave FULL of rock pokemon and mostly Rolycoly, as well as it’s evolutions. When I say evolutions, I mean the second and third stage of it. The final evolution looks like it can breathe fire.
