Since there's trading in Pokemon Home what if they also add battles killing Pokemon Showdown by having it on your phone and also pleasing everyone who wants to battle with all Pokemon?

I think it's realistic that if we instead of complaining about not having all the pokemon in Sword and Shield we all tell Gamefreak to add battling to Home it could happen.

that's actually the most profitable option for TPC. Making new games for new story and new pokes, and then utilizing them in HOME subscribtion based postgame. Put Amie and some minigames there and i'm sold

That's not going to happen. The MO of the pokemon company is doing as little as they possibly can without receiving backlash that ends up in lost sales. They would never in a million years do this.

If they have a full battle simulator as well as a way to tweak your team then I'd be okay with that. If you can't edit your pokemon (temporarily for the simulator) then you'd run into an issue where you send a pokemon to Home, can't send them to Sword and Shield to breed or change moves, but also can't send them back to 7th gen to breed from or change moves. They need to have a full move tutor and tm systems, as well as the ability to change evs, ivs with bottle caps, ability with capsule, etc.
