the vast majority of them look like garbage and the few that actually look good should have just been a regular evolution instead.

one of my favorites got a mega evolution yet I never even use it because of how fucking terrible the design is. fuck megas.

I agree. Take some details off of Mega Sceptile and it should have been just Sceptile all along. That feel when my boy will never be good...

I've used them the most for is turning SelfDestruct into a wall breaking move if somebody switches in against my sweeper

This. When I saw Mega Heracross I just wished it were a real evolution. Then I saw shit like Mega Salamence and Pinsir and what not where it's some really fucking boring ""cool"" additions that ruin designs and it's clear that most Megas were garbo.
