It's pretty easy to make a game that's just a bunch of linear corridors

Colosseum/XD basically have the same structure as Gen 7, minus routes or wild Pokemon

Even if I like both Gamecube games, being so cynical just to pretend they are better than anything gamefreak has ever produce is retarded. Colosseum and XD are excellent complements to gen 3, but I would take emerald any day

you sir, are wrong. You have an actual endgame with th ebattle tower which grants special rewards and even exp. The story makes way more sense and has even a justification for why the protagonits ist well ... the protgonist. You can play as a cool edgy kid who drives around in one of these motorcycles from the early Dragonball story and everything is badass and cool and the best shit when you are a teenager/young adult who still likes Pokémon. The music is also hands down the franchise has to offer, the attack animations fomr XD are the best ever since these games existed and yeah, just the perfect shit.

Colosseum was ugly, the human character models were blocky as fuck and the Gen 1 and 2 Pokemon were ripped straight from the N64 games

GoD improved the human models, but the older Pokemon were still recycled

It was incredibly jarring seeing a Gen 1 or 2 Pokemon next to a Gen 3 Pokemon in these games
