Why did gf made encounter rates for something like barboach and wailmer so fucking awful in oras with good rod and force me to wait just before taking on 7th fucking gtm to get super rod to get them without much problem?

It really breaks the immersion when, after proving yourself to be the regions most powerful badass and E4 champion, it still takes 30 minutes, or sometimes even an hour, of hurling ultra balls on a 1HP paralyzed/sleep Pokemon to catch it..... And there's also the fact that it's simply tedious, unfun bullshit.

I won’t argue that it’s not tedious, but I don’t see how it breaks immersion.
