>>39717634I'm using a Nuzleaf in Emerald right now. Yeah, you're right. Its movepool is so shit in Gen 3. You have to hold out from evolving it until it gets Extrasensory.
Also, do note that you CAN get Giga Drain TM on Route 123 by talking to a female NPC with a Grass-type in your party. So Giga Drain is useful for that much. Just be thankful that the Bullet Seed TM is extremely early on, so you can still use Seedot and Nuzleaf viably. You can also get Thief TM for some Dark-type STAB until it learns Feint Attack at Level 31. Also, don't forget that Nature Power in sand becomes fucking Earthquake, so you can pretty much spam it to beat nearly everything on the beach.
