Any pokemon reveal, or any giganta/dyna/gimmick they reveal, you can't be 100% sure if it'll come back in the next game in the series. Not to mention, you don't know if the pokemon will be available for the next game either.
Why should i feel motivated, at all, about new stuff anymore if i'm not gonna be able to use it online eventually? There's no reason to be hyped anymore if you ask me, or to expect, optimistically anything coming in the future.
