I'll start with pick related.
I remember first catching a Snover in Diamond wanting Abomasnow because I thought it looked so cool. I was expecting a beast of a Pokemon.

I boxed it before I could even reach Volkner. This of piece of shit died to almost everything.

During one of my BW2 plays I caught a Magnemite to cheese Roxie's gym and decided to keep it on my team since I never used the line before. It was great as Magnemite/Magneton. Fun to use, shrugged off any and all attacks it took and hit surprisingly hard. But as a Magnezone it felt like it couldn't hit as hard or take a hit as good as before it evolved

Abomasnow is a pretty decent counterpick against water trainers and water gyms in fangames because it resists water and only takes neutral damage from Ice Beam. You have to watch out for the odd Fire Blast or HP Fire, though.

I love Abomasnow and use it in runs anyway, because you don't need to metagame to beat trainers, but I do wish he was better. Best we can hope for is a new form in Sinnoh remakes that also doesn't completely butcher his design.

I like the fists on crabominable because they're based off yeti footprints. The implication is that while climbing a mountain, crabominables fists leave an imprint that looks like footprints. The face/body redesign is totally justified though

What the fuck is the point? For putting us through more shit to obtain it than any legendary in its opening gen, then being so useless. First off all, the typing is not only one of the weakest type combinations possible, it's also one of the most common type combinations. Vespiquen should have been bug/psychic. I don't care that that's also poor defensively, at least it's unique.

It's slow, has decent defensive stats, but can't put it to use thanks to a terrible defensive typing, and has two lame abilities. This thing needed to be completely redone.

Went into B/W blind, chose this lil' feller.
I thought it'd evolve into a cool pig/boar maybe with a fire/dark typing, but it evolved into ANOTHER FUCKING FIRE/FIGHTING ANTHROPOMORPHIC POKEMON
Instantly reseted my game after Pignite and chose Oshawott. Samurott is still my favorite starter to this day.
