Excuse me? Your own pic disproves you. Original Pryce had an icy stare, and wore Hawaiian cloths even though he was an Ice Type user! It was a great contrast to create an interesting design. New Pryce is just a generic old man.with a scarf. Literally removed his defining trait!

I like all Kanto Gym Leader Gen II designs. So much soul, I prefer them even over Genwun ones.
