Just use Protect/Sub.

It makes sense they can have items since you decide why dynamaxes midbattle, not beforehand.

That's pretty cool, anyone on your team can dynamax at any time, instead like in megas or z-moves where you need to waste your item slot for the sake of having two pokémon or more that can do so.
I'm pretty hyped about this.

Dynamaxing is kinda pointless when Gigantamaxing is pretty much superior to it and everyone's going to try to find the most broken one to use. No point in Dynamaxing G-Weezing and Gigantamaxing Alcremie gets special broken moves and possibly better stats/abilities.

Every Dynamax move has good abilities so Gigantamax moves aren't necessarily better. There are plenty of scenarios where having rain setup is better than setting up rocks or just removing a threat entirely is better than healing your team.

they havent said EXACTLY what dynamaxing does yet. could be busted if max moves have stupid high BP, or if dynamaxing boosts your stats like megas did.

You still have the option to, in case your opponent's team has a hard counter to your go-to Dyna/Gigantamax Pokemon. Or if it just gets killed on switch-in.

All that dynamaxing does is raise it's hp from all we seen, unless it varies from Pokemon to Pokemon but as far as we know from the demo, that's all dynamaxing does

But they're much less powerful than z-moves at turn one, or even always less powerful than them depending on the boosts given by max moves of a certain type
Per ex Double edge only gains 10BP

Does Alcremie has something relevant about it ?
Fairy healers have been done 3 times already, if I'm not wrong, and none have been relevant in doubles.

Dynamax Pokemon can still get status effects.

I was trying to pad out my playtime of the demo at the International Championships and Yamper accidently paralyzed Drednaw. It didn't do shit for 2/3 turns.
