Breeding is a core part of the game, it is not a stupid gimmick that was introduced as the last flavor of the week like Mega evolution and Z-moves.

You don't even need to online for raids though. You can do it solo and the game just gives you 3 AI.

Also not sure how doing the same thing over and over again wouldn't appeal to people who breed anyway.

beeding is fast if you know what you are doing, raids are slow. I can get a team ready in 30 minutes in S/M, if breeding is gone I doubt I can do the same with raids when you have: randomized abilities, IV, gigamax species, natures.
