Natures are fine, since there's at least a tradeoff, and EVs are fine because all Pokemon have the same EV cap and it's not based on RNG.
But IVs just make some Pokemon objectively genetically superior to others, which completely flies in the face of the love and friendship theme that the game tries to pretend that the player actually follows, and makes it an unnecessary pain in the ass to get competitively viable Pokemon.
