Goddammit Gamefreak

Any thoughts about this admittingly underwhelming move? I'm guessing Normal, probably low base power like the other guaranteed secondary effect moves, ala Bulldoze and Icy Wind. Let's cross our fingers for 70 or 80 BP though. Also, Serebii has misinformation on this move. Flygon is the one using it, not Obstagoon.

Breaking Swipe definitely seems like it's Normal and it has a low base power since it only did so much damage.

That aside, I do like the idea of Sandslash developing its skill as a physical wall. It still really wants moves like Spiky Shield and Shore Up, though, which maybe it will eventually get.

Incineroar gets plenty of usage with Snarl, I'm positive Breaking Swipe is going to get a lot of usage especially with how powerful Physical attackers are.

Sandslash might actually be pretty good with it if it gets it, for a niche user at least. If it does I can see it getting some usage on sandteams to make T-Tar survive some moves it might not of otherwise. It depends on the distribution. Given how strong the debuff can be I really hope tthat it isn't given to literally everything.
