>>39734909>NidorinoConsidering the goal was to make a rabbit, I feel like the fake-nugen design is more accurate. The original suffers from Gen 1 making everything a reptile.
>ClefableNot really accurate to what a nugen version of Clefable would be, this is a completely different concept of "an alien from the moon" as opposed to "a fairy from the moon".
>MankeyIt's not like fur-patterns simply don't exist in the nugen artstyle, nor that short-haired gen 1 Pokemon drawn as being completely smooth don't exist. Inaccurate remake.
>MachopThese ones are actually pretty equal in terms of design and is a fairly accurate nugen recreation of Machop.
>BlastoiseThe new Blastoise would be a lot better without the helmet, the idea of Blastoise being designed as a tank is clever instead of just being a turtle with cannons on it. The helmet doesn't really make sense as a nugen recreation, usually a Pokemon either goes full into being clothed or is nude, you don't get Pokemon that're animals but with one very human accessory.
>Fighting crabThe old gen remake is better because the original design is shit. Gen 7 has a lot of shit designs, but I wouldn't say they're representative of every Pokemon made after gen 2.
