Battle Royales could have been a cool feature of the Wild. Similar to the four players coming together to start a raid, there could have been a couple places where if they came together they could form tag and royale battles.
I'm not going to participate in faux outrage and pretend im mad its gone though. If people really wanted, you could still form unnofficial 1v3's anyways. Not mad Triples or Rotations are gone either, those formats were legitimately dogshit. Nice attempts to do something fun to mix it up, but they just didn't work with Pokémons gameplay like Double's does. Masters fills that 3v3 niche now anyways.
