>Scientists experimenting with male Salandit by providing them the sustenance required for evolution, maybe one group has a Salandit alone, and another with a Salazzle/female Salandit>Specimen A successfully evolves, revealing a new species>Specimen B gives most of its food to Salazzle/female Salandit instead, and doesn't evolve>New species is introduced into the wildBoom, Salandit boys can evolve.
As for what it'd be, idk. Maybe it'd develop pheromones of its own that attracts female Salandit, thus allowing their numbers to increase by lowering Salazzle numbers, or something. Kinda creates a balance.
I'd see a male Salandit evo as being considerably more bulky and a physical attacker, making use of the line's wide-ish physical movepool.
I dunno, just talkin' outta my ass here.
