Nobody really perceives Soldier 76 any differently because being gay has pretty much nothing to do with him and that's what makes him special. He's the same hard ass soldier, he just happens to be gay now; being gay is no more significant than him being white or male....and that's a good thing. Could you imagine if he was made with him being male/white/white-male being super important?

That being said Soldier 76 is still my fave character. I didn't like him because I thouht he was straight back then and I don't like him now because he's gay, I like him for the hard ass soldier that he is and his sexuality has nothing to do with that. I like Reaper too do you want to make him gay??? You can do it if you want I don't like him because I think he's straight, I just think he's cool but I'll call the sudden "natural" reveal cringe.
