marketableyour legends first spark the idea of something based on the the north/south winds, perhaps. flying deities that control the weather. personally, though, I'd have Electric/Ice and Electric/Fire for the poles (the typings would better describe their designs- Ice in the south and Fire in the north)
for the core (that i'd suggest Fire and Ground so it counters both legends), look into sleeping beasts like cthulu. something that is lying dormant in the earth has lots of potential.
