It is legitimately, the only design I have a beef with and wish I could forget, which says a lot about me. I can't find it in me to forcefully hate mons, but this design never did it for me and is legit the first design I felt troubled with.
I'd prefer to have a forgettable mon I never tried out than him, at least I'd be caring over something else than obsess over a starter.
inb4 owlfag, I liked it initially, but even that felt painfully boring after a while. It gets points over being a underdog now. Shit stats, but at least doesn't make the game painfully easy. I'd say Primarina too, but I used it in a second playthrough.
