If you're into these games for the battles, all mons only have one weakness, and no resistances/immunity.
(Most of) the story uses a format where you use 3 sync pairs (1 Sync Pair = 1 Trainer + 1 Pokémon) against the IA (which can have more than 3 sync pairs), a coop battle format where 3 players use 3 sync pairs each against IAs
But sadly there's no PvP, even though the coop format would be absolutely perfect for that
Overall it's a bit sad, when even Pokemon GO kept the entire type chart (despite modifing the multipliers)
If you play them for the characters and want to know more about them then you'll like the story bits of the game
If you play them for the lewd waifus.... you'll get nothing from this game apart from the fact that some of the girls seem to have bigger breasts and/or wider hips compared to what I remember
