Pokemon is the single highest grossing franchise of all time. Our beloved series has grossed over 95 Billion dollars in it's lifetime.

So why is it that the quality of the games seems to be in constant decline?

Pokemon has gotten so big it doesn't have to give a shit about us anymore. They have so much excess capital that they can poorly toss together a game and use it as an engine to drive up toy sales.

This is why gamefreak just seems to ignore the fans entirely. Every beloved feature that they slashed, merely gamefreak deciding that *they* wanted to take it out to "surprise" us.

The company doesn't give a flying fuck about us or our reception of the games, and it doesn't seem like there's fuckall we can do about it.
