Sinnoh has such a pathetically underwhelming dex, especially with a console game (the 3DS games have around 400 Pokemon in them, not including ORAS, in the regional dex). Sinnoh is definitely one of those regions that should get regional variants and regional variant evolutions so gym leaders and trainers don't have to keep using the Wurmple line, starters, the Budew line, and Pokemon of different types than their specialty type throughout the region.
