Why is the Pokémon franchise so picky towards the death element? While some characters actually died in the games/anime, sometimes they die off-screen (remember Lysandre?). Heck, the d-word is never ever used (In XY). Why? Even Disney movies actually dealt with death with no problem. Coco, for example, even show a murder. A straight, fucking MURDER. Is Pokémon too childish to even deal seriously with death? GF and TPCi actually need to "grow up".
