Why make detailed models and animations and take the time to balance, say, Maractus, in Pokken when something like Empoleon is a hundred times more popular? Adding Pokemon that have a level of popularity is just logical for the success of the game, not shilling.

Would be a half decent game if they took the synergy gimmick bullshit out as well as the drawn trainer profiles that talked. Other than that it needed way more playable mons, solid game otherwise, pretty to look at. So take from that what you will

This. I just got a Switch and really wanted to try it out, but i'm not willing to pay full price for a game that i probably won't even play that much.
