Here's something important for you to know.
Global Rules are always in effect, board rules are modifications/exceptions to those Global Rules, or specialized "inner" rules. There are also "secret rules" that comes with board posting culture.
One of the global rules is "No ponies outside of /mlp/, (and /trash/)"
This is strictly enforced.
I'm actually quite surprised that Barneyfag (A very notable spammer of 9 years) hasn't popped up to give you gaff for posting /mlp/ outside of /mlp/.
/vp/'s rules are very simple.

1. Do not mention Bui or Slugfucker.
2. Don't post obviously overly anthro fur content
3. Don't RP
4. No personal info dump (even jokingly)
5. Don't complain about staff
6. No disgusting tier fetishes allowed
7. Don't derail topics with off topic posting such as flooding a weekly general with non topic related material.
8. YOU MUST CATCH THEM ALL. NO EXCEPTIONS.
That's pretty much it.
Read up and learn these rules, and learn the culture of /vp/ so what happens to you later today won't happen again for plenty of years...or until we get newblood in the staff box again who decides to change the rule climate again.
