I can't remember, I liked the merchandising and the anime as far as I have memory of.

Another week or so later I had my own copy since my 11th birthday was coming up anyway so despite being poorfags, my mother had already been saving money (and I've never given a fuck about birthdays so she learned to not give a fuck about my birthday as well and just bought it once I informed her that was the thing to use it on).

I think I was 8 when I started watching the anime. At around 10 years old, I got Pokemon Gold, my first Pokemon game, and I had the best time of my life for the next three years.

I saw a couple of anime episodes when i was around 11 i think, but it was almost impossible to get the game in my country at the time, so i essentially forgot about it.
Then, after college, so around 24-25, seeing all the cute fanart, reintroduced myself using an emulator.
