I've grown up liking pokemon since I can remember. I'm only 21 but my first game was silver, and yet everyone here thinks a single time frame means you had to have grown up with that gen, i meantion my birth year and I get called sinnohfetus or hoennbabbie. and another thing, they think liking something makes you one exact type of person. I disliked emerald post-league, i'm a genwunner, I like platinum, that means I must be begging for a dp remake (i'm not and i think dp was incomplete trash), I thought gen 5 was ok, no, you cant sit on the fence, you have to love x and y, you're supposed to want remakes, you can't like sun and moon, etc.
and here's where it devolves into buzzwords and childish insults. I know 4chan was always like this but /vp/ is on another level, I don't follow masuda on twitter and I've never even touched a switch outside of the walmart demo but because of current events, voicing your opinion on anything, even unrelated shit, means you're either a shill or a faggot who's gonna buy the SwiSh anyway.
