I hacked my boyfriend's switch and it was pretty easy. Took even less time than with my 2DS XL. As long as you set up the DNS properly (to prevent access to Nintendo's servers) you should be good to install any "backups". You basically only lose online play (officially).
And you spend like 5€/5$ on a Jig.

This is unironically the first Pokemon game I'll not be buying. I'm just tired of it all bros. Sick of getting penny pinched by all these fucking game companies trying to bleed us dry. I'm not buying a Switch just to play the latest pokemon game where I can't even import my mon' from literally over a decade of playing, it's just not happening. And the new gimmick is literally just giant pokemon? Christ why couldn't they just have added some new pokemon, focused on actual gameplay for once, and worked on the D/P remakes like people are begging them for?
