Gen 6 was shit but the PSS was of my favorite things to come from it. It was perfect.

Kinda understandable why it won't come back on Switch tho, considering the mechanic is purely reliant on dual screens.

Now why the hell it wasn't a main feature in Sun and Moon is its own problem.

Looks like a fair compromise for the lack of dual screens. I think they really didn't push this news because there's a lot of people who have no idea this is a thing.

Following Pokémon, riding Pokémon, Vs Seeker, romantic side-quest from BW2 (even if it was tedious, it was a nice touch), Mythical Pokémon distributions being an in-game event (Shaymin, Victini, for example) instead of just having them handed to you... too many to list. I don't know if Shadow Pokemon count (I don't count that Pokémon Go garbage going on) but I miss that, too.

Goes to show how poor the marketing has been for this generation. This is something people would have been genuinely excited about, and it got no trailer time. Just mentioned off-hand in the treehouse demo. Recently, they are tweeting about shit we already knew about from the website like dex entries.

Might be a bit dumb but I’m gonna miss the myriad of fun glitches that we’re present in early gens. There will always be glitches and bugs but I don’t know if we’ll ever see stuff on the level of the Mew glitch from gen 1 or the Pomeg berry glitch from gen 3 again.

They should just let you do either. Ride the bike if you dont have a rideable pokemon. Then even without hms you don't have to carry around specific pokemon to travel on.
