Same goes for Chatot and Luvdisc.
GF won't retcon Eviolite to work with these fully evolved Pokemon.

There are rumors about a Farfetchd evo and an alternate Meowth evo that may be Galar exclusive, but hypothetically speaking, they could still evolve from normal Farfetchd and maybe even Meowth.

I also think it’d be easy enough to handwave, like “the unique environment in Galar prevents items like Eviolite from working with Pokemon previously thought to be compatible.” Makes as much sense as “RAICHU PANCAKES”
