So now that we know the Galar Dex has around 500 Pokemon, and we know 219 of them (and can either assume or know of even more Pokemon that haven't been officially announced but are in it)

Is there any old Pokémon you're genuinely upset got in? I know rosterfaggotry is cancer but it'd be interesting seeing the depths of autism we can reach

as long as genies, tapu and ubs don't get in I'm happy. More than enough Pokemon I like are already confirmed in the game.

hold on, it might not be that simple- keep in mind at lot of space in those books had to be made for Megas and Legendary forms which are now probably gone

this, and also iirc the B/W guide was split into two, of which 352 pages was a bloated pokedex style book which was basically the contents of bulbapedo, but in a book.

of which there will likely not be as many as megas, because they had two sets (XY and ORAS). There's also less stat differences between a Gigantamax and an original than a Mega and an original, so they may just be combined with the pages of the original.

Wingull is one of my least favorite Pokemon of all time and it got in. I never hated Vanillish or Garbadour but the fact that they got confirmed despite being widely disliked is bullshit.

You don't understand. It's not about specific mons not getting in, it's about all of them.
The only kind of game i'ld be ok with not having the national dex are BW-like game in which there is 150+ new mons. But we all know SWSH will have like, 70 new mons.

If they put too many it'll be worse on them than if they put too few. Stop deluding yourself.

If the way you're trying to cut it, they'll have more like 700 which will anger people more than 450 because there's no good excuse to not put it off that little bit of time more in that case. They have to cut it down to 500 at most or it doesn't make sense.

Also, you realize there were only 50 Megas in total, right? A similar of number of muhbigmegas is likely.
