Why don't they just do the smart thing and adapt Pokemon Adventure manga into an anime series, starting from the first volume? Its guaranteed to be popular as long as they stay loyal to the manga.

I’m sure it’ll be popular with the fan base initially much like Pokémon GO but it won’t have as big of a wave to ride. As much as we may not like to admit it Gen 1 has a substantial pull with the fan base particularly the normies and genwunners. This significant pool of people guaranteed success however the manga does not have that going for it because within this dedicated fan base not everyone is well-versed in the manga especially if you’re using the fact that it has to stay loyal to it as a requirement for popularity.
In essence Pokémon is going to be wasting a lot of money which we know Pokémon does not want to do to cater to a very small portion of the fanbase. Sound familiar?
If they really do go through with it, any deviation from the manga would be detrimental to its popularity. Now let’s assume that this won’t affect popularity then they can do whatever the heck they want with this anime adaptation. So this begs the question why have two different animus

It’s just that Pokémon usually aims at 8 year old demographic so when the manga aims for the 11 year old demographic it seems more mature than it actually is.

The original Build Fighters was revealed at an anniversary event but didn't air until the following year. The original BF did pretty good by having the leads be Seed, Wing and X with the rival using UC suits most of the show plus the cameos from characters throughout the franchise but it was legit the last good Gundam material we got. The sequel was OCdonutsteal suits and 00 wanking. Aside from that all we've gotten is UC after UC after UC show.

Only the arcade vs games are good.

I don't understand the point of manga adaptions. Majority of the time it's just taking the same frames in the manga and giving it powerpoint movement. Even the dialog is the same. The anime designs tend to end up being 50% worse than the original, too. And if you've already read the manga then you know what exactly is going to happen (no shit) because nothing is changed. The only time manga adaptions shine is the saguka.

Manga to anime adaptions are pointless and I just don't understand why Japan does it. Light novel to anime adaptions makes the most sense because you're taking a script from a book and using animator talent to animate what is being written. It's just a shame most LNs are trash.

Also visual novel adaptions make sense too. There are a ton of great visual novels that aren't adapted into animation. What the fuck is the stupid country doing not falling back on VN adaptions is beyond me.
