I have a curious question. Does /vp/ hate change when it comes to Pokemon designs after Gen 1? Should they stop living in the past and accept that change is inevitable?

can't speak for a whole board but I don't hate change in fact I welcome it, but change does not equate to good. A lot of the new changes in the franchise just happen to not be good imo

Gen 6 was when it went downhill
Gen 5 was when it changed its style (more proportions/slightly overdesigned), but it's mons look good so I'll give it a pass.
Gen 8 looks bad so far. No other way to put it.
