Their eyes always follow the sun for they are extremely afraid of the dark. And since they’re always looking up at the sun they have since lost the need to look down so their heads became sorta like solar panels. But at night all that light causes a sort of switch to flip and give them a surge of bravery where they can shoot bolts of lightning from their eyes.
