I think it's up for debate whether Exploud belongs on here. I've personally never used Whismur in my life and I don't think I know anybody else who has.

Honorable mentions go to the almost immediately boxed Castform, the occasionally-used-for-Cut Kecleon, and a diving Tentacool or Sealeo.

I think that's a pretty strong list too, though not having a flyer is really weird to me, there's so many common ones like Swellow, Pelipper, Crobat, Skarmory and such. I think it's impossible for somebody to not have one.

Breloom is one I thought about replacing Absol with, but I'm not sure about Gardevoir. I don't think many people put up with Ralts, just like Trapinch. In the case of Manectric, I played Ruby when it came out in middle school and I'd consider my tastes pretty normy back then, but I've never used Manectric before. I was more interested in Plusle before finding out it's shit.

The reason why there’s only a party of 5 in Platinum is that I swap out Staraptor with either Lucario, Weavile, or Togekiss.
For the longest I picked Elective because everyone always started off with Luxray.
