also if you're playing the eng version you can use coin case ACE to turn onix and scyther into steelix and scizor

Playing Pokemon X, have two teams, the top one is my main, that i used to beat elite 4, the second one is the secondary, with which i currently fight all the npc trainers that i skipped to not overlevel.

Playing through the original Green version, I picked up a physical copy from an import game store. It's really just a challenge to see if I can beat Kanto with very little (read: almost none) Japanese knowledge, but experiencing all the original sprites have been fun. So far Magikarp has the best one.

I'm at Misty's gym, so nothing really special as of now. This is my first time using a Nidoqueen. Since it's Green I might try out some of the version exclusives I never had a chance to use, like Bellsprout and Jynx.

sacred gold team at blackthorn city, still not 100% sold on blissey/electivire but i'm just glad to finally have a completeish team after my autism meant i had several gaping holes for quite a while.

Gliscor honestly feels like cheating, i just got done w/ a renegade platinum hack where it was my mvp there, and its looking to be a repeat here

this one has hyper cutter/isn't ev trained so its getting used slightly differently which is the only reason im content to leave it on the team at this point.

Ambipom is for passing agility/nasty plots onto other team members

The only pokemon I've been using so far are Ivysaur, Nidoqueen, and Spearow. The rest are just... There, but I see no reason to box them when I can at least use them as potion swap fodder.

Still thinking about where to go after this gym, I'm pretty set for a while.

Just beat the league in Red with a normal monotype. Clefable was very overleveled at first because you get it so much earlier compared to the others but Snorlax was the main man. Getting Kangaskhan and Tauros was actually easy but Chansey took fucking forever, I've had one dodge 20 balls in a row before it ran away.
