It wasn't until after the games came out did people realize it didn't really improve on Emerald and outright removed things like Battle Frontier. The megas, which was the main thing ORAS was advertised on, was ALL the game had to offer in reality. It was a huge disappointment.
You guys really misunderstand why ORAS sold so well. It wasn't low standards, the ads really created a lot of hype. You would have had the same result with an Omega Diamond and Alpha Pearl game, as a matter of fact ORAS is why people dread the inevitable Sinnoh remake.
