Probably nothing. But it would be a decent gimmick. Maybe also give it super luck in its second ability slot, since fearow is one of those few pokemon that have only two abilities still.

I’ve been saying this for years, in gen II, they should have made Fearow and Spearow Dark/Flying and buffed Fearow’s SpAtk to match its Atk. It still would suck but it’d have a great niche in-game. I guess they had Murkrow instead but you can’t even fucking catch them.

All that type of shit has been ruined because not only will Pokemon not be returning, but will attacks? Which ones? How long before X Pokemon is in another game? 15 years? They make a new gen once every 4-6 years. Hopefully I’ll get to use my bros by the time I’m actually dead. This is an ironic post, I haven’t bought a Pokemon game since I made it to the fire trial in Moon and never played it or any Pokemon game after it again.

I was thinking a way to change the ability would be to make it so that you could automatically switch out on command after using a move,in change of reducing priority for the move you used. There would be a toggle much like the one from megas and z-moves before choosing a move to apply that effect

Give it an evolution, since we're in the galar form area.
Flying/Dark Make it look like a Goliath Heron
Give it a general defensive boost, along with some hp under sacrifice of it's speed.
It gives fearow an evioite option.
New ability, Nested
Entry hazards are turned into defensive stat boosts. When this triggers the pokemon is counted as grounded.

Male Combee (unable to evolve so unable to hold eviolite) receives the Combee version of Schooling when partnered with Vespiquen. Raises base stats except HP and Speed by 100. Vespiquen fainting causes Combee to lose its buffs.
