Thing is, if SS goes back to being a total copy/paste of every series Gen VI and before, I'm dropping it like I did in the days of Johto's run (as I really don't like that manner of storytelling - especially the "gym leader/new girl trainer, who doesn't actually fight" travelling companions), I don't actually watch stuff I'm not interested in. SM got me, as it did something I wanted since Johto, ironically and that was an ensemble cast of characters. You on the other hand are going to continue to get mad and shitpost hard over it for the next 3 years if it's so.
