I'm kind of upset Gamefreak is ditching this pattern this gen and possibly more gens after. It may not have been the best pattern but it always was unexpected and came as genuine surprise. This pattetn also gave these designs some personality, and created dedicated followings.

Also designs like these keep the board active, due to the hate they usually get here.
