Why have the writers wasted so much time in this shit character and still continue to do so? Why does she get so much attention when she is just a minor side character?

The Pokemon Anime sheds its entire cast sans Ash, Pikachu and the Team Rocket Trio every gen, and if it's anything like the "transition" from Kalos to Alola, odds are that when it's Galar's time, he'll just suddenly be there with no explanation, and they'll make no references to Alola specifically in order to keep up the idea that "Ash could have came here directly after Kanto/The Orange Islands".
Once Sword and Shield drops as both a game and anime, she's going to be forgotten outside of Masters and merch until Let's Go Alola.

The way I see it, Lillie is the best female main character the show has had in a ridiculously long time. Possibly one of the best things story wise to happen to the show period. Her fans and disturbingly HARD shilling are what bothers me.

Lana is a personal favorite of mine. She just does her thing. She doesn't have much importance to the story, which kinda sucks. She doesn't seem to care though, literally just along for the ride.

Mallow is a good girl, but is even less relevant than Lana. One temper tantrum and one emotional episode and that's it for Mallow.

All three are blatant waifubait as bad as FE and are cancer by default anyway, so who gives a shit
