As long as the pokemon-corporation can make more money cutting cost in time, development, and production by exploiting the brand, using cheap empty gimmicks, pumping out generic mediocre mr.potatoehead mons, swap/rinse/repeat, they will always choose quantity over quality as their business model. Simply put, as long as they prioritize profit over all other motives, pokemon will always be ruined and won't stand any chance of regaining a semblance of It's long-past glory.
