they are not. we had a jump to a more powerful console along with the price increasing and what did we get to make up for it? fucking nothing but a bigger space to walk in, that's literally it, that's the ''groundbreaking'' innovation the pokemon home console experience provides. and on top of that the game's graphics look unpolished as fuck and they're fucking cutting shit out as well. we're not even getting the same game for more money, we're getting LESS for more money. it's a fucking travesty and wanting something that has actual effort and is worth $60 has nothing to do with wanting them to pander to adults or whatever cope excuse to defend an half baked product you'll come up with.

That could mean anything from streamlining the breeding process to make getting into multiplayer battles even faster to bringing back rental battles alongside the Battle Maison. Doesn't mean they're scrapping the rest of the demographics to focus on us. Just means there might be a bit more thought put into shit for us that have got a 20yo habit going (and of course the already-announced comp changes which that crowd are absolutely loving so far as well as the asshole rival the nerds here were crying they needed).
This is STILL a kid's entry-level RPG, still designed to set up TPC to drive the machine forward for the next 3-4 years. As soon as you come to terms with this, the better your experience as an older fan will be. Take it from someone with experience, not only of the last 20 years of Pokémon, but who remembers a time before the little fuckers infected the world.

and right now that's exactly the fucking problem because the same game we always got costs more money. or rather we're getting even less than before because there's going to be less pokemon than in the 3DS games. a game that costs 60 while having less than a 40 game is objectively and undeniably a scam. there should be more content or more graphical/animation improvements to make up for the price increase but you retards are fine getting literally swindled.
