>>39820641Who cares? When I bought Trash Go in late January second hand, I was more than willing to pay more.
In fact I did just that with the auctions I found. I knew no one would be willing to pay full price let alone more so being in Canada where they're 80 a pop I went above that.
It turned out no one had bid more than 56 on either and eBay auto locks you into the next highest one up to your set limit so I got them for 119 shipping included (one for 56 and one for 57 with 3 shipping on each) by swooping in literally last minute.
I would have paid the full over 80 dollars. Not having the money isn't the problem. Especially considering I've got tons more of it lying around thanks to not buying anything Pokémon the last year and it was one of the two series/games I spent most heavily on every year.
I was hearing conflicting shit about them so though I knew it would be a chore to play I needed to see it.
Now, with S/S I don't need to do that. I know they're too shit to bother with so I don't need to know how much worse they are in practice but it isn't the price that's the issue. Honestly they could charge me 100+ per game for at least 4 copies as long as they're going to go above and beyond (which would require not just returning everything but actually bringing in a bunch of new shit and fixing all of the old shit - hell, I'd gladly pay 150 each if they were

They just haven't so they're not getting anything. The price isn't the issue, the content is.
