Nintendo owns 2/3rds of TPC

TPC has just enough autonomy to be a separate company from Nintendo, while Nintendo still takes in money from them.

Nintendo doesn't want to make too much money from mobile games because it would make them look greedy and tarnish their family-friendly image.

TPC on the other hand, has no such image to protect because it's just a marketing and licensing company.

Iirc Cygames themselves were told by Nintendo not to get too Jewy. Of course mobileshit isn't that big to Nintendo so I doubt they're breathing down everyone's necks about it and they do their own thing to an extent. ISIS are known to be greedy motherfuckers, so of course their game would reflect that. It's a miracle their DLC for 3H has shaped up as it did to match Zelda and Xenoblade, considering how disgusting it was on the 3DS.
