>>39836117It's not about affording it; it's about being financially smart and responsible. Nobody needs that shit for most of the tasks they use their phones for. Not spending excess amounts of money when you can spend less is how people become rich, not the opposite. If you really are going to use the full power of that device, then go for it, but the vast majority of consumers who are buying it are just doing so blindly for status or lack of time to properly research their purchase.
I can easily afford that. I dropped more money than that last week on just a jacket and two pairs of pants. And then on top of that I purchased some gold and silver bullion for almost twice that amount without blinking an eye. But that's the thing - I'll actually get more use out of those items than I would if I put that excess into getting the LATEST N GRATEZ phone every half year. I wear stylish clothes for my lifestyle and it's always good to invest in precious metals, if not for profit then at least for financial security in the event of a crisis.
But go ahead and remain ignorant as to how people maintain wealth once they find their way into it. There's a reason why lottery winners mostly end up broke within a year or two; being poor is a way of life. Getting more money while being poor means nothing if you don't know how to spend it.
